The Citizens Foundation
In appreciation of the significant contribution of The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in the development of human capital across Pakistan, Indus Motor supported the Foundation by donating two school buildings.
The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is one of the largest non-profit organizations in Pakistan in the field of education serving at the remote areas across Pakistan. It was established in 1995 with a vision of bringing a positive change in Pakistan by providing quality education to the less-privileged youth.
Indus Motor Company has been helping TCF achieve that vision by partnering to provide quality education to underprivileged students in Hyderabad, in a Primary School premises made on land donated by the Habib Family and started in September 2006, providing education to 360 students from villages in the vicinity. The complex houses a playground as well, to promote extra-curricular activities. This is the second TCF school set-up by IMC, the first one having been constructed at Baseera, Muzaffargarh.
In 2017, Indus Motor contributed Rs 22 million to the Foundation as an Endowment Fund for meeting operational support of Saker M Habib Campus of TCF, located in Orangi town, Karachi.
For the excellence of education and for free scholarships, we continuously contribute significantly to TCF every year.
