Karachi – The Professionals Network (TPN), at its 13th Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Awards ceremony, lauded Indus Motor Company (IMC) with awards for its continued commitment and exceptional contribution to the Global Goals.
As many as 107 companies competed in 35 award categories, with 70 companies having won a total of 96 awards. Leading in the categories, “Clean Energy Transition” and “Community Impact”, the awards were presented by the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat, to IMC’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr. Mohammad Ibadullah.
Mr. Ali Asghar Jamali, IMC’s Chief Executive expressed, “It’s always a feel-good moment for us to be recognized for our efforts and this laurel from The Professionals Network is no exception. Whilst more and more companies today recognise their social responsibility, a lot needs doing as a cohesive force, especially when it comes to reducing the country’s carbon footprint.”
He added, “producing happiness for all is what Toyota’s CSR philosophy aims at and building a society that leaves no one behind is what our CSR initiatives are geared towards, in particular, the company’s flagship Toyota Goth Education Program with TCF, that promises to uplift the less privileged from the throes of poverty.” He mentioned that IMC remains steadfast in its mission to lead by example, setting new benchmarks for excellence in Pakistan’s automotive industry, while championing environmental stewardship and community engagement.
IMCs runs several CSR initiatives run in collaboration with Deaf Reach, HASWA, HANDS Pakistan, Karwan e Hayat, United Nations Association of Pakistan, Saylani Welfare Trust, Road Safety with NED University, etc.
